The most interesting – and lousiest – of the four regions.

Another interesting fact: the lowest of region leading ASMs
(i.e., fourth highest of the four teams you would pick if you just followed the
ASM) almost always fails to make the Final Four. Yet, Villanova is a
delightfully sneaky Final Four pick. Here’s what the crowd says:
East
4. Michigan State: 46.3 percent
1. Virginia: 22.6 percent
2. Iowa State: 11.8 percent
3. Villanova: 9.4 percent
4. Michigan State: 46.3 percent
1. Virginia: 22.6 percent
2. Iowa State: 11.8 percent
3. Villanova: 9.4 percent
I’m going straight ASM in one bracket, which means Villanova
will be in the Final Four for me. I have no idea if that team is good or bad,
but it could be a pool winner.
